Optional wall mounting instructions for battery pack charging unit. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY:
1. Always make sure the area you choose to mount the Battery Pack Charging unit is free
from hidden electrical wires, water pipes and/or gas lines.
2. Select a place close to an indoor 120V ~ 60Hz wall outlet.
3. Do not locate in direct sunlight or close to any heat source.
4. Select a drill for the material and size of mounting screws.
Be careful that no wires, water or gas pipes are behind the wall where the Battery
Charging unit is to be installed.
5. Mark the wall where you want to mount the Battery Pack Charging unit.
6. After carefully drilling starter holes, install the screws so that the Battery Pack Charger
unit can hook onto the screw heads.
NOTE: This Battery Pack Charging unit is designed for INDOOR MOUNTING ONLY!
POWERING THE BATTERY PACK RECHARGE UNIT
Connect the AC/DC Adapter into a working 120 VAC outlet.
Plug the barrel connector into the receptacle on the Battery Pack Recharge unit. The unit may
be either continuously powered or disconnected after use.
If desired, the tools may be placed in the tool wells for storage.

BATTERY PACK RECHARGE
The battery pack should be charged for 24 hours before first use. Recharge the Battery Pack
after each use. Recharge every 30 days if not in use.
The Battery Pack must be removed from the Canister Vac for recharging. The Battery Pack is
then snapped onto the powered Battery Pack Charging Unit.
1. Make sure the AC/DC Adapter is connected to a 120 VAC outlet.
2. Plug the barrel connector into the barrel receptacle on the Battery Pack Recharge unit.
3. Release the Battery Pack from the canister by simultaneously pressing the two Battery
Release Tabs.
4. Place the Battery Pack onto the Battery Pack Charging unit, making sure the battery
locks (snaps) into position.
The red LED should indicate the charge is proceeding. When charging is complete, the green
LED will light. Disconnect the battery when it is fully charged.
NOTE: It is normal for the AC/DC adapter to get warm while operating.
USING THE DC ADAPTER
The DC adapter is used when the vacuum is used in an RV, vehicle, or boat that has 12 volts
DC available from an accessory outlet. The 9 foot cord allows freedom of movement. Powering
the canister vac from a 12 volt accessory socket allows long run times without discharging the
canister's battery.
The DC cord and the plug are all stored inside the battery-shaped shell.
The DC adapter may be connected to the battery pack charging unit for storage.
This will protect the contacts so no dust, dirt or moisture will collect on the contacts.

REMOVING THE DIRT CONTAINER FOR CLEANING
• There are two lift latches that lock the dirt container to the upper motor assembly. The lift
latches must be carefully moved away from the dirt container to release the dirt container.
It is easiest to release one lift latch at a time.
CLEANING THE DIRT CONTAINER AND FILTERS
• Empty dry dirt container contents into a plastic bag for disposal.
• Dirty water can be poured down a sink drain.
• Clean with a wet cloth or with mild detergent and water only. Do not clean with paint
thinner or chemical solutions that might damage the unit.
• Replace dirt container by snapping it back in place.
FILTER CLEANING
The filters can be easily cleaned using water with a little dishwashing detergent. There is an
outer cloth filter supported by an inner foam filter.
Cleaning should be done when the outer cloth filter becomes clogged with dust and dirt.
Remove the motor assembly from the dirt container. Make sure the container is emptied of dirt,
dust and any dirty liquid.
1. Remove the rubber-retaining ring by sliding it off the cloth filter. (see Figure 5A)
2. Remove the cloth filter.
3. Carefully remove the foam part of the filter.
4. Wash both the cloth and the foam filters and the retaining ring in detergent and water.
(see Figure 5B)
5. Rinse in clear water and wash again in clean in water if necessary.
6. Pat the cloth and foam filters with a large dry bath towel to remove most of the water.
7. Allow several hours for the filter to dry if using for dry dust and dirt.
8. Reassemble foam, cloth and retaining ring on the filter assembly.
9. Replace the top part of the unit on the canister.
